I’m finally back home from my 7 weeks away, working in Alabama! It was incredibly challenging, no lie. I would come home every other weekend to see my husband, do laundry and try to see some friends in between. The weekends I had to stay in ‘Bama my peers and I did some exploring. We were staying only 2 hours away from the coast, you all know how much I love the water, so I had a blast! We visited a gorgeous hotel in Fairhope, AL, The Grand Hotel by Marriott. We sipped cocktails by the bay and walked along the coast just fantasizing about grand parties in all the beautiful beach houses that lined the shores. The weather was still a bit cold, but it was a beautiful day that ended with dinner at Sunset Grille.
Por fin regresé a casa de mi largo viaje de 7 semanas, trabajando desde Alabama! Fue increíblemente difícil estar lejos de casa, sin mentir. Regresaba cada 2 semanas para ver a mi esposo, lavar ropa y tratar de ver amistades. Los fines de semana que me tenía que quedar en ‘Bama, mis compañeros y yo logramos explorar un poco. Sólo estábamos a 2 horas en la costa, y ustedes saben lo mucho que me encanta el agua, así que estuvo bien chévere! Visitamos un hotel precioso en Fairhope, AL, The Grand Hotel por Marriott. Nos tomamos unos cocteles cerca de la bahía y caminamos por la costa, fantaseando sobre fiestas en las casas de playas. El clima estaba un poco frío, pero aún así fue un dí hermoso que terminó con una deliciosa cena en Sunset Grille.
