Last Saturday, I attended the Stylish Saturdays event, as you read in a previous post. Here’s what went down with my outfit. We’d been living in the house that we closed on at the end of the year for only 1 week! I packed all my clothes in suitcases, still on the hangers so I can easily unpack and just hang them up in my new closet. I transported the long dresses and blazers straight on the hangers in the car and packed all my jeans in a small suitcase, rolled up neatly, of course. I had recently purchased the most amazing mid-rise J Brand black coated jeans for only $14.99 at Ross about 2 weeks ago, but I left it in the original bag with the moving madness. I’ve been looking for them the entire time since we moved! I almost deemed them lost, until I stumbled upon a box with miscellaneous decorations and there it was, the shopping bag with my new jeans!! I was supposed to leave my house to the event by 4 pm and I found the pants at around 3 pm. Talk about luck! It wasn’t a coincidence so I knew I had to wear them to the show. I wanted a laid back look and it turned into a kind of rocker look when I paired it with my gold studded boots from Just Fab.

El Sabado pasado, estuve presente en el evento de Stylish Saturdays, como pudieron ver en un artículo previo. Esto fue lo que pasó con mi atuendo. Llevábamos viviendo en la casa que compramos y cerramos el 30 de enero por sólo una semana! Empaqué toda mi ropa en maleta, pero las dejé en sus ganchos para colocarlo fácilmente en el nuevo clóset. Transporté los trajes largos y chaquetas directamente en el carro sin remover sus ganchos y todos mis mahones, enrolladitos por supuesto, en una maleta pequeña. Recientemente había conseguido unos mahones de J Brand negros por sólo $14.99 en Ross, pero lo dejé en la bolsa original porque me distraje con toda la loquera de la mudanza. Llevaba una semana como loca buscándolos desde que nos mudamos! Ya casi los di por perdidos hasta que me tropecé con ellos en una caja de decoraciones misceláneas. Ese día tenía que salir para el evento a las 4 pm y me los encontré a las 3 pm. Vaya mi suerte! Supe que no era coincidencia y que me los tenía que poner para el evento. Quería un look relajado y se convirtió en algo de roquera cuando me puse mis botas de puyas doradas de JustFab.
