More on my vacation to Puerto Rico where I acted like a serious tourist. I love that I’m able to come back to the island I called home for 22 years and experience it in a completely different light. Old San Juan may be somewhat of a tourist trap, but if you’re willing to walk the cobblestone streets through the alleys I guarantee you’ll find hidden gems, like thewonderful wall art on my previous post and the Nuyorican Café, where you can dance salsa all night long and have really affordable drinks. In this post, I visited La Plaza del Totem, the National Cemetery near the Fort (El Morro) and the general north side of the Historic Downtown.
Más sobre mis vacaciones en Puerto Rico, en donde actué como una turista. Me encanta poder regresar a la isla que llamé mi hogar por 22 años y disfrutarla de una manera bien diferente. Viejo San Juan es un lugar bien turístico, pero si caminas por las calles de adoquines entre los pasillos, te aseguro que vas a encontrar joyas escondidas, como los murales bellos que encontré para mi último post y el Nuyorican Café, en donde puedes bailar salsa toda la noche y tomar tragos a precios razonables. En este post, visité La Plaza deTotem, el Cementerio Nacional al lado de El Morro y el area alrededor del norte de la ciudad histórica.
