This weekend was amazing! We met with a group of friends from Puerto Rico that traveled from allover and went to Fredericksburg, TX, a quaint German town in the Hill Country, Northeast of San Antonio. The night before we had gone to Rainey St. in Austin, but that’s a whole other story. The vineyards and wineries in Fredericksburg are a pleasant surprise. The weather was so much better than the day before (it was freezing on Saturday) and we were able to enjoy a lovely afternoon of wine tasting, great conversations by the warm firepit and made wonderful memories. A fabulous weekend indeed.
El fin de semana estuvo espectacular! Nos encontramos con amistades puertorriqueños que viajaron de todas partes para ir a Fredericksburg, TX, un pueblo alemán muy pintoresco al Noreste de San Antonio. La noche anterior habíamos ido a Rainey St. en Austin, pero ya eso es otro cuento. Los viñedos en Fredericksburg fueron una grata sorpresa. El clima estaba mucho mejor que día anterior (el Sábado estuvo tan frío) y pudimos disfrutar de una linda tarde probando vinos, conversaciones frente a la hoguera, creando gratos recuerdos. Fue un fin de semana fabuloso.
