Mile High Boot Club

The Devil wears Prada (2006)
Ever since we saw Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) go from ugly duckling to a Chanel clad Swan in the Devil wears Prada, I couldn’t get these thigh high boots out of my mind. It was absolutely mind boggling for me to see these boots and not think “Pretty Woman” patent leather street walker boots. This look was so stylish, so sleek and preppy with an edge. As this trend makes it’s way back into Winter 2013, I’ve realized that even a non-celebrity, regular ole’ gal like me can rock this style, so as long as it’s done tastefully (hold the Miley Cyrus jokes).
