Summertime is just such a great time to discover new things in your city! Last month, I went to Second Thursdays at the McNay Museum in San Antonio. This place is absolutely beautiful. They hold such a fantastic art collection, but what really draws me in are the events they hold. Second Thursdays is great because it’s FREE! They have food trucks, music, and performances. You can walk through the museum or hang out in the courtyard. This courtyard is breathtaking! I had a huge thing for courtyards back in Puerto Rico. many homes had them, especially in Old San Juan, so this is definitely reminiscent of back home. I wore the breeziest romper I bought at a local boutique, Voge, and trust me when I say, you need breezy clothing in this Texas heat!
El verano es un excelente momento para descubrir cosas nuevas en tu ciudad! El mes pasado, atendí al evento del Segundo Jueves en el Museo McNay en San Antonio. Este lugar es precioso! Tienen una colección de arte increíble, pero lo que más me gusta es que tienen actividades divertidas. El Segundo Jueves es chévere porque es GRÁTIS! Tienen comida, música y shows. Puedes andar por el museo o caminar por el jardín interior. Este jardín es un sueño! Yo tenía una obsesión por jardines interiores desde que vivía en Puerto Rico, ya que muchas casas lo tenían, especialmente en el Viejo San Juan. Así que este definitivamente me trae muchos lindos recuerdos. Llevaba puesto un romper de una boutique local, Voge. Créeme este look es perfecto para el calor de Texas en el verano!
