Blooming Lotus

Hello, my loves! I’m still on the road so unfortunately I didn’t spend Valentine’s Day with my husband. I was feeling really down about it, so my coworkers drove me down to the coast for the weekend. We went to the Alabama Gulf Shore Coast and it was just lovely. It really wasn’t beach weather, but it was sunny enough to stroll along the sand and dip our feet in the water. The breeze was salty and cool, the sun was shining bright and the powdery white sand practically dissolved at my feet. Even though I was missing my honey, I’d say it was a perfect day…

Hola, mis amores! Aún me encuentro fuera por trabajo, así que desafortunadamente no pude pasar el Día de San Valentín junto a mi esposo. Me encontraba muy triste, así que mis compañeros de trabajo me llevaron a la costa por el fin de semana. Fuimos a la Costa de Golfo en Alabama y estuvo de maravilla. Realmente no era clima playero, pero estaba lo suficiente soleado como para caminar por la arena y mojarnos los pies en el agua. La brisa tenía salitre, el sol estaba brillando y la arena como polvo prácticamente se derretía bajo mis pies. A pesar de estar extrañando a mi amor, puedo decir que fue un buen día…
