San Antonio has so much to offer. Just 5 minutes away from downtown, The Pearl Brewery has become the urban oasis in the city. Right on the river, the beer brewery, which had originally opened in 1881, is now closed down, but some of the original structures still stand. Today, it’s known as The Pearl, and it’s home to great restaurants, the Culinary Institute of America and loft apartments. I feel like The Pearl symbolizes an urban living trend growth in the city of San Antonio. It’s not all historic buildings, but also a new form that includes industrial, modern living. Some of my favorite restaurants in all of San Antonio are in the Pearl! Definitely away from the conventional tourist traps, The Pearl is by far one of my favorite spots in town!
San Antonio tiene tanto para ofrecer. A sólo 5 minutos del centro de la ciudad, The Pearl Brewery se ha convertido en un oasis en la ciudad. Justo al lado del río, la cervezera, la cual orginalmente abrió en 1881, ahora se encuentra cerrada, pero aún quedan varias estructuras. Hoy día, se conoce como The Pearl y es hogar de excelentes restaurantes, el Culinary Institute of America y apartamentos modernos. Yo siento como que The Pearl simboliza una tendencia de vida urbana que está creciendo en San Antonio. No es todo estructuras históricas en la ciudad, sino que ahora la nueva forma incorpora lo industrial y moderno. Algunos de mis restuarantes favoritos de toda la ciudad se encuentran en The Pearl! Definitvamente que se aparta de lo que es atracción turística, The Pearl es uno de mis lugares favoritos en la ciudad!
