Distressed Jeans

I was recently contacted by fellow blogger, Christina Coker of Champagne Taste, Beer Budget to participate in a segment for SA Live! at Neiman Marcus as a model. I thought “Me? A model??” She said, of course YOU! So, I went for it and it was one of the funnest experiences I’ve ever had! I got to pick out the clothes styled around a pair of Rag & Bone Dre Distressed Boyfriend jeans. I chose the Daria Loose Layered-Hem Tee by the same brand in soft pink. I felt that the soft look of the tee complemented the jeans very well. At first, they were going for an edgy, street style look and they brought me several shoe options, among them slip on sneakers and several heels. When they brought out a pair of Valentino Rock Stud heels in Blue, my heart skipped a beat! I had to wear them, they were perfect! It was the perfect pop of color for Spring, and the best combo of femme meets rocker chic. I couldn’t stop dancing around in them! Then we chose the jewelry. Christina and I were really feeling  the natural stone. It was hard to choose, so we went for the layered look with necklaces by Panacea from the Contemporary section, CUSP. The entire time, I felt like a kid in a candy store! Plus, I was a total ham in front of the camera. It was great!
Recientemente fui contactada por compañera bloguera, Christina Coker, de Champagne Taste, Beer Budget, para participar como modelo en un segmento para SA Live! en Neiman Marcus. Pensé “Yo? Modelo?”Ella me dijo, “Si, TU!” Entonces decidí hacerlo y fue una de las experiencias más divertidas que he tenido! Me dieron a escoger un look que giraba alrededor de unos mahones rotos estilo “Boyfriend”de Rag & Bone. Escogí una blusa de la misma marca, el Daria Loose Layered-Hem Tee en rosa pálido. Sentí que la suavidad de la blusa complementaba los mahones muy bien. Al principio, ellos tenían en mente un atuendo estilo rockero y Street Style y me trajeron varias opciones de zapatos incluyendo tennis. Cuando trajeron un par de Valentino Rock Studs, pensé que me iba a desmayar! Tuve que ponermelos, estaban demasiado perfectos! Eran el color perfecto y una combinación femenina y rockera sin igual. No podía parar de bailar en ellos! Luego, escogimos los accesorios. Christina y yo estábamos enamoradas de todo lo natural y se nos hizo difícil de escoger, entonces decidimos que era mejor llevarlo en capas. Los collares fueron de Panacea, de la sección contemporánea CUSP. Todo el tiempo, me sentí como una niña en una tienda de dulces. Y, frente a la camara, me encendí como la Estrella del Norte. Estuvo super chévere!
