Happy New Year!

This is how I got ready for my big NYE celebrations. I mixed golds and loved the way it turned out. I really wasn’t in the mood to wear anything uncomfortable, so I chose this shift dress from a small boutique in Puerto Rico (yes, it was hanging in my closet for months). I love how it has sparkle with a sequined checkered pattern throughout. The color was a chocolate gold, so I decided to mix with yellow and rose gold accessories. My favorite piece is definitely that double snake knot belt, from the same boutique. I completed the outfit with nude pumps. I wanted the focus to be on the dress and not overdo it, which is easy when dripping in gold.

Así me preparé para despedir el año. Mezclé tonos dorados y me encantó el resultado. De verdad que no estaba de humor para ponerme nada incómodo, así escogí este trajecito suelto de Escarcha Boutique en Puerto Rico (si, estuvo colgando en mi closet por varios meses). Me encanta el brillo con lentejuelas en patrón. El color era como un oro chocolate, así que decidí combinarlo con accesorios dorados en amarillo y rosa. Mi pieza favorita es la correa de serpiente, de la misma boutique. Completé mi look con zapatos color piel. Quería que el enfoque fuera el traje y no sobrecargarlo, lo cual es muy fácil con dorado de pies a cabeza.
